Support Literacy
Put Books on Every
Block That Needs Them
Your gift stocks free community bookstands and reading programs in neighborhoods where books are scarce.
Legacy Library closes literacy gaps the simplest way there is: it puts books within reach. Free community bookstands on neighborhood corners. Book drives and reading mentorship. A neighborhood-first model that treats access to books as fundamental — because it is. Your gift builds, places, and keeps those bookstands full on the blocks that need them most.
Sustained monthly support is how we build cohorts that last.
Your $25/month: restocks a neighborhood bookstand monthly.

Good to Know
Questions, Answered
Where do the bookstands go?
Onto neighborhood corners that lack easy access to books — a neighborhood-first model, chosen block by block for where a bookstand will matter most.
Can I fund a specific bookstand?
Yes — our Name a Bookstand option lets you build, place, and name one of your own. A general gift here stocks and sustains bookstands across the whole program.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. The Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 20-4557510). You'll receive a tax receipt by email immediately after your gift.
