Sending your tickets,
step by step.

Ticketmaster

Many New York arenas, stadiums and theaters sell through Ticketmaster, and many team and venue season-ticket sites run on it too.

1. Sign in to your Ticketmaster account in the app or at ticketmaster.com, and find your order in My Tickets.
2. Select Transfer. If Ticketmaster texts you a one-time code, type it in and select Confirm.
3. Choose the seats you are donating and select Transfer To.
4. Enter the email address we give you when you donate, then select Confirm.

• Season tickets held on a team or venue site: sign in there instead (Ticketmaster lists those sites at am.ticketmaster.com), open the event, and select Transfer. The rest is the same.
• Your tickets show as Sent or Waiting to accept until we accept them. Until then only you can cancel, from the same order in My Tickets. Once we accept, your copies stop working and the seats are ours to place.
• Merchandise, VIP package extras, fan club memberships and ticket insurance don't travel with the seats.

If Transfer is missing: Ticketmaster says Transfer may not appear when the venue doesn't offer it yet, the artist or venue has turned it off for that event or section, the event was canceled (you are refunded automatically), the event has already happened, or the tickets were bought by phone.

AXS

AXS Mobile ID tickets transfer from the AXS app or from AXS.com.

1. In the AXS app, tap the ticket icon at the bottom of the screen and choose the event. On AXS.com, sign in, click Your Tickets, and choose the event.
2. Tap Transfer and select the tickets you are donating.
3. Enter the recipient name and the email address we give you when you donate.
4. Tap Continue, check the details, and tap Transfer Tickets. AXS asks for a one-time passcode on every transfer.

• While a ticket shows Transfer Pending, you can still revoke it and keep the ticket. Once the transfer completes, your original ticket no longer works.
• If your AXS tickets are e-tickets rather than Mobile ID, AXS calls it Share, and the tickets arrive as a PDF. That works for us too.
• Merchandise, VIP package elements and ticket insurance are typically not transferable.

If Transfer is missing: AXS says a missing or grayed-out Transfer button means the event isn't eligible for transfers or shares yet, and that Transfer may become available later, so it is worth checking back before the event.

SeatGeek

SeatGeek's Transfer works for tickets stored in your SeatGeek account. If your tickets reached you by mobile transfer from another platform, such as Ticketmaster, AXS or a league app, SeatGeek asks you to send them from that platform instead.

1. Open the Tickets section of your SeatGeek account and choose the event.
2. Select Transfer.
3. Choose the tickets and any passes that come with them, add the recipient details we give you when you donate, and select Transfer now.

• You can cancel a pending transfer from your SeatGeek account any time until we accept it.
• Parking passes and suite access can go in the same transfer as the seats, which helps us place the whole experience together.
• SeatGeek sends one event to one recipient at a time, so a release covering several events goes as separate transfers.

If Transfer is missing: If Transfer isn't there, check how the tickets were delivered. SeatGeek says tickets that came through another platform's mobile transfer have to be sent from that original platform.

MLB Ballpark app

MLB clubs, the Yankees among them, deliver tickets in the MLB Ballpark app, where sending a ticket on is called forwarding.

1. Open the MLB Ballpark app, go to the Tickets tab, and open your Wallet.
2. Choose the game and tap the forward button. Some clubs label it Transfer.
3. Select the tickets you are donating, then tap Forward tickets (or Transfer To) and choose to send by email.
4. Enter the email address we give you when you donate, and send.

• Yankees tickets: the app first asks you to sign in to your Ticketmaster account, using the same email you bought with.
• The app lets you cancel a forward until the ticket is scanned at the ballpark or forwarded again, so once we confirm we have your seats, please leave the forward in place.
• Each club sets a cutoff for forwarding. For Yankees games it is four hours after first pitch, but please don't wait: seats that reach us days ahead are far easier to place.

If Transfer is missing: Not every ticket can be forwarded. When a ticket isn't eligible, the app simply doesn't offer the option.

Telecharge

Telecharge sells tickets for most Broadway shows. Its help pages don't describe a way to transfer tickets, so we don't publish steps we haven't been able to confirm.

• Choose Telecharge when you donate and tell us the show and date. We'll work out the right way to get the seats to us for that show and walk you through it.

StubHub

StubHub is a resale marketplace, so how you send the tickets on depends on how StubHub delivered them to you.

1. Open Orders on StubHub and check how the tickets were delivered in your order details.
2. Mobile transfer tickets: accept the transfer into the original platform's account, then send them to us from there using that platform's steps on this page.
3. MLB tickets: send them from the MLB Ballpark app.
4. PDF e-tickets: select Get tickets to download the PDF, then upload it when you donate.

• StubHub notes that its PDF tickets are meant to be printed and won't work from a phone. We handle the printing.

Vivid Seats

Vivid Seats Electronic Transfer tickets are sent on from the site where you accepted them, usually the original ticketing platform.

1. Sign in to the account where you accepted the tickets.
2. Open the tickets you are donating and select Transfer.
3. Enter the name and email address we give you when you donate, and select each ticket you are sending.
4. Check the confirmation page. You'll also get an email confirming the request.

• Vivid Seats notes that the team, artist or venue may limit when tickets can be transferred, and that it can't change those limits.
