Legacy Heart Health Initiative publishes free education about cardiovascular warning signs, hands only CPR, AEDs, inherited heart conditions, and blood pressure. Every page names its sources and the date they were checked. Nothing is behind a form, nothing is sold, and nothing about a reader's family history is ever sent to us. Your gift pays for the writing, the independent clinician review, the printed handouts a community group can hand out at a table, and the work of keeping every citation current.

Does The Legacy Foundation provide medical care or advice?
No. The Foundation publishes education. It does not diagnose, triage, score risk, order tests, or interpret scans, and no page in this program can tell a reader whether a symptom is safe. Anyone who may be experiencing an emergency should contact local emergency services rather than reading a website.
Do you collect information about my family's health?
No. The conversation aid runs entirely in your browser. What you enter stays on your device, is never sent to the Foundation, and is never stored on a server. Google Analytics does not load anywhere in this program.
How do you know the information is accurate?
Every claim cites a published source from a body such as the CDC, the World Health Organization, or the American Heart Association, and each page shows the date its sources were last checked. Modules funded under the program receive documented review by a qualified clinician before they publish.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. The Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 20-4557510). You'll receive a tax receipt by email immediately after your gift.
