    The Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity returning to full operating capacity in 2026. We welcome inquiries from journalists, editors, and producers covering philanthropy, youth opportunity, and the cultural sector.

    For Journalists

    The story is the return.

    The Legacy Foundation was incorporated in 2006 and operated actively through 2021 — direct charitable support for young people, families, and working artists across disciplines, with over half a million dollars in public support raised across our first chapter (per IRS Form 990 / Schedule A).

    In the wake of the pandemic, the board chose a deliberate pause rather than a wind-down. In 2026 the Foundation returns to full operating capacity around four programs: Seat Forward, The Gentleman's Club, The Creative Trust, and The Legacy Library.
